Do you know World Health Key History

Do you know World Health Key History?
The Historical Healing Time Line:

How has man been caring for the Human body, historically? What has man been doing to the Human body? Did his lifestyle and "healing" methods REALLY create long-term survival and high level health and pain-free highly pleasurable living?

What is man doing TODAY in regards to the proper care and maintenance of the human body?

Is he really securing long-term survival and health for himself, his family and the world at large?

The following section, features an overview of the historical healing timeline of our world. You will have the opportunity to take a candid look at where we have been and...where we are headed...

Ancient History-Before 3000 B.C.:
Today, the island of Santorini, Greece has been acknowledged as being a portion of the land mass of ancient Atlantis. Santorini's beaches do not have white sand, but a very unusual fine powder black sand. Tourists come from all over the globe to view this incredible site.
Numerous books discuss the ancient civilizations of Atlantis and Lemuria (Lemuria was the other main continent in existence during the time of the continent of Atlantis. Some of the best books are a series by James Churchward on Lemuria (or Mu, as it is sometimes called), Edgar Cayce on Atlantis, The World before Atlantis, Atlantis to the Later Days, Rudolf Steiner,in his book: Cosmic Memory: Atlantis and Lemuria, and the works of Mona Rolfe. It is important to understand the teachings and cultural experiences of these ancient civilizations because they are relevant to us today.

Galaxy Nutrients makes no claim to the facts or descriptions of these very ancient civilizations, these are only being presented to acknowledge these time periods and the possibilities. We are only relaying, that which others numerous others have consistently documented. The material presented below can be researched through the above referenced books for those interested.

The estimated time period of the existence of the continents of Lemuria and Atlantis was approximately 500,000 years ago.

The inhabitants of Lemuria were completely self-contained, being in harmony with each other and with the harmonics of nature. The destruction of Lemuria took place when there was the desire for knowledge of the material world that was out of balance with the forces of nature.

Atlanteans lacked the Lemurians' intuitive understanding of nature; indeed, the focus there was on advanced technologies much like what has developed in America.

During the time period of Lemuria, there was that which we now know as the sciences of horticulture and agriculture of the content wherein all gardening, all horticulture and all botanical techniques were accomplished through far more advanced techniques than those that are practiced today.

Herein there was an extensive development of what was referred to as the "doctrine of signature", wherein plant growths of a similar nature to the anatomy of man can have as a forbearance and impact upon specific portions of the anatomy according to basic principles of shape, color, and texture.

All the Lemurians were gardeners. Each of the plants and all the herbs of the field were given unto service to mankind.

Many flower essences in Lemuria were specifically used to effect the human function and structure.

You would find that the essence of healing and conscious growth was the most predominant thought in the Lemurian community. Healing was considered harmony.

There was a symbiotic link placed between the body physical, as the temple, and the outer world, which was the direct reflection of the thought forms of the individual in those days.

The Lemurians were for the most part content to live close to nature, so their intuitive and spiritual states of consciousness were highly developed. At least until the latter days of Lemuria, which were somewhat influenced by the Atlantean culture, there was no disease in that ancient civilization.

People left their physical body when on a soul level they felt enough life experiences had taken place in that particular incarnation.

Flower essences were used primarily for spiritual growth and for regeneration of the physical body tissue.

Flower essences began to be used as a system of medicine in Atlantis for herein is where diseases like those orthodox physicians study had their origins. Then the blooms were put on water so the flowers could be exposed to the life forces of the rising sun.

Because the Atlanteans were not properly in tune with nature many diseases developed for the first time on the planet. Flotatations of the blooms on water was done in Atlantis because they did not have the sensitivity of their ancestors.

In Atlantis, they focused on and achieved a high degree of technological advancement, far beyond what we have achieved today. Presently, people who want to protect the environment and live what would be called a more natural life style, have this belief system often to an important degree, stemming from Lemurian times. In contrast, people interested in the continued development of more advanced technologies from space travel to atomic energy, often do so partly from the influence coming in still for ancient Atlantean times.

In early Atlantis, natural or holistic healing was the predominant system of medical practice. Gradually, new and then radical healing techniques like what we now call allopathic or orthodox medicine developed. Many in the holistic schools were against these materialistic teachings, so certain members of this new system were persecuted by the authorities. An interesting pattern ---the opposite to what we experience today in our world---with the natural healers now having difficulties and being attacked for their teachings and beliefs by the established orthodox medical profession and the law of today.

12,000 B.C.
The stresses of life in Atlantis led to new emotional, mental and physical diseases.

Noted historically was that the average life span at the time of the collapse of Atlantis---about 12,000 B.C. was around 200 years.

The Egyptian Era:
Further forward on the historical time line, came the days of the mysterious and much revered Egyptian era.
There was a concentration or heightened usage of flower essences in Egypt not only because of Atlantean influence but as a historical point of social force because their was a gathering of critical bodies of information in Egypt for the preservation in the pyramidal forms within the capacity of the hall of records. The reason for the heightened usage was not because there was a peculiar civilization developed or even a higher degree of development of flower essence usage then in the Atlantean period, but because there was a gathering of the body of knowledge for the express purpose of preservation. It was more a historical quirk than heightened research.

Coming forward into our present time period, many people along the way continued to work with flower essences over the ages.

Dr. Edward Bach was one of these people. Bach was born in England in 1886, near Birmingham. For more interesting information on Bach and his flower essences, proceed forward on this timeline to the year 1886.

3000 B.C. :
Medicine for a long time came within the compass of magic. Magic dominated the medical practice of the ancient Chinese, Hindus, Babylonians, Assyrians, Egyptians and we find traces of it in Greek medicine, in the medicine of the Middle Ages and even in that of modern times.

During antiquities, the practice of medicine was one of the duties of a distinct class of priests especially educated in that "art".

The Chinese approach to the treatment of diseases has been through the ages "cosmic and mystical". There was an elaborate system of principles, incantations* of the good and the bad, or the primary and secondary spirits.

Drugs, like everything else in nature, were considered to be animated and they too carried helpful or disastrous spirits and were depositories and distributors of vital force.

*incantations- (L. in + cantare, to chant) words chanted in magic spells or rites.

2600 B.C.
Imhotep was an architect as well as an Egyptian physician of the Third Dynasty (founded by Zoser) who was later, after his death, worshipped as god of medicine and healing.

Imhotep is the first physician whose name is known.

2200 B.C.
Three legendary figures, supposed to have lived between 3000 B.C. and 2200 B.C. are regarded as the founders of Chinese medicine: Fu His, Shen Nung and Huang Tsi. An explanation given by Hume, for early Chinese concepts as to the causes and treatment of disease is as follows:

Health and disease are due to balance or imbalance of the living forces everywhere, acting alike on man and on plants and animals. It is the concern of medicine to neutralize the malevolent influences of the environment by the help of friendly spirits, to bring to man's aid every friendly force of nature, and to use, for the patient's restoration, medicaments that have not only what the West calls pharmacological value but are also, in themselves, in to the forces of life and vigor.

The above explanation is valid likewise for India during that time. But, in addition, not only was there a host of evil and good spirits, but even special deities for special diseases. Early Indian medicine is still more shroud in mystery than that of China's medicine. The main source for our very fragmentary knowledge is the so-called Vedas, parts of which are thought to have been written about 5000 years ago, from today. For the most part, these older parts contain incantations* as the means of treating disease.

Our knowledge of early medicine and pharmacy in Babylonia---Assyria is likewise fragmentary. Babylonia and Assyria were heirs of a civilization known as a Cymarin civilization. This still older culture had grown up in the land of Mesopotamia as early as about 4000 B.C. Although Babylonia was the older and Assyria the younger political unit, the countries may be regarded as one in their racial elements and cultural concepts.

The ideologic fundamentals of Babylonian---Assyrian medicine may be summed up in the statement that as a consequence of the persistent hold maintained by the belief in divine signs of all kinds, disease became primarily an omen, the interpretation of which on the part of the priest as diviner, supplemented the efforts of the priest as exorciser, while the priest as healer availed himself of both these aids to supplement his efforts in the direct treatment of disease.

These three aspects of Babylonia---Assyria medicine---exorcism, divination and medical treatment blend together to form a composite picture in which it is not always possible to distinguish the different strains. Illness was divine punishment and healing a purification. With this, medicine had its fixed place in the religious ideology, in the eternal purification from sin through penance called "catharsis"*

*incantation (Latin- in + cantare, to chant) words chanted in magic spells or rites *catharsis (Greek-a cleansing), a cleansing or purgation.

Historical sources of the above: The History of Pharmacy, by Kremers and Urdang Who is your Doctor and Why by Shadman

2100 B.C.
It was from the religious ideology of catharsis that there emerged the concept and the word of Greek origin, "pharmokon," referring to means of purification through purging. This idea has found a still more direct expression in the term "carthartics" for especially effective purgatives.

We also find a very comprehensive Materia Medica in these times of "archaic" medicine-including at least 250 vegetable drugs and 120 mineral drugs. Alcoholic beverages, fats and oils, parts and organs of animals, honey, wax and various milks were also then being used medicinally.

Excrement, likewise, played a part in the Babylonia-Assyrian therapy. The administration of several kinds of filth was expected to disgust the evil spirit who had invaded the body of the patient, and to cause it to leave forthwith.

In Babylonia, about 2100 B.C., the retailers of drugs seemed to have plied their trade on a special street. There was a close relationship between Babylonia---Assyria and ancient Egyptian culture in general and with medicine, in particular. However, Egyptian medicine was less dominated on the whole by metaphysical concepts.

1600 B.C.
Nutrition and its benefits in certain ailments, according to recorded history, goes back at least 3500 years to early 1600 B.C. where the Ebers Papyrus recommended liver for the eyes.

1500 B.C.
For night blindness, the Chinese gave liver, honey, flying fox dung and tortoise shell.

1000 B.C.
Much of the rest of the earlier historical origin of medicine on Planet Earth is lost among the legends and fables of the earliest ages. Mythological history has man learning the Art of Healing directly from the gods.

800 B.C.
Materia Medica was limited to a small number of substances whose powers were not really understood. Anatomy and physiology were practically unknown.

500 B.C.
Aesulapius was the most celebrated Greek Physician of the fabulous ages. The first medical schools and hospitals, which the Greeks founded, were known as Temples of Aesulapius. About 100 hospitals were scattered around the Roman Empire. Patients were admitted to the temples, only after they underwent a process of purification-abstinence, prayer, fasting and sacrifices. It was here, in these temples of Aesulapius, that the first records of treatment were made and transmitted to posterity on plates of metal, wood, or stone; hygiene rules, mineral water, sea bath, opium, blood-letting, purgation, and emetics.

460 B.C.
Hippocrates, was the most ancient medical authority to have his ideas, in a large measure, carried over into our times. His theories on the causes of disease, were, of course, not entirely accurate, but , they were, in general, based upon careful observation.

All he knew of anatomy, was what he had learned by dissection of cats, dogs and other animals.

Only once in his life had he seen a human skeleton.

He refers much to blood and bile, supposing these were but the two fluids contained in the body. He emphasized the good and the bad effects of sleep, stressed the importance of exercise and rest and was careful in prescribing diets.

Hippocrates writings placed much importance on changing winds, seasons, the rising and setting stars and certain constellations. Hippocrates was followed by Serapion.

Later, medicine was divided into numerous branches or specialties. According to Herodotus, "Each physician applies himself to one disease and only one"

The Greeks of a later civilization, but like the Egyptians, considered disease as a direct sign of their god's displeasure. The Greek priests believed there were 36 spirits or demons of the air, who divided various parts of the body among themselves. Each part had its name, and by invoking the spirit to whom the afflicted parts belonged, the priests would attempt to cure the patient.

287 B.C.
Serapion-he founded "Empiricism"

During the previous 600 year era of activity in Greece and Egypt, the science and practice of medicine remained, in Italy, unknown.

The Romans considered surgery incompatible with kindness and humanitarianism, although later they were to surpass anything the Greeks had accomplished in surgery.

At any rate, they did not take kindly to anything emanating from Greece, and we find Roman censor favoring the expulsion of any Greek found practicing medicine in Rome.

234 B.C.
Not until 234 B.C. was the religion of the Greeks and the so-called science of medicine, introduced to Rome. Shortly therafter, Serapion, Archagatus of Peloponesus, Greece, settled in Rome to practice medicine and surgery.

200 B.C.
The Jewish priests continued to be the physicians of the Jews until about 200 B.C. The law of Moses, directed them in their duties. These Jewish priest-physicians were probably the first to isolate persons suffering from certain diseases, such as Lepors.

100 B.C.
We come upon Asclepiades, who openly opposed the theories of Hippocrates. By his general condemnation of the practices of his own contemporaries and the disparaging manner in which he referred to all medical practitioners of the past, he attained a large share of attention to himself. His arts were---soothing the patient and avoiding everything that might give pain until nature cures or the patient sinks under disease.

It was Asclepiades who originated the doctrine of the self-limitation of disease and asserted that the principal cure for a fever is the disease itself.

4 A.D.
Celsus was born. He was the only distinguished medical writer in Rome for the period of 250 years from Asclepiades to Galen. Celsus agreed to some extent with Hippocrates.

131 A.D.
Galen was born. He was a Greek physician, evidently superior to all his contemporaries.

So successfully did he expose the deficiency of their knowledge and the futility of their reasoning that he triumphed over his opponents and attained a very high rank in medicine.

He swayed the opinion of physicians and public alike, on all points in the field of medicine never before known and was the propounder of the theory of opposites---"Contrara contrariis curantur" (opposites are cured by opposites)---in the prescribing of medicine.

If a man couldn't sleep---he was given a sleeping potion, dope. If he was sleeping, a stimulant was given.

Galen discovered that the arteries contained blood and not air, as proclaimed by his predecessors. This was the most important discovery in physiology, thus far made. He wrote a great deal and while he had no correct ideas as to the cause or treatment of disease, his writings influenced the medical world---for the next 1300 years. Nobody dared to advance any ideas or theories contrary to those of Galen.

1st century to 300 A.D.
The Essene Gospel of Peace
The Essenes were a mysterious brotherhood living at the Dead Sea and around Lake Mareotis in the 1st century A.D. They lived and promoted the Essene Way of Biogenic Living. Biogenic Living meant "life generating" living . Their ancient teachings included practical wisdoms which generated life, not destroyed it. Including dietary wisdoms and practices. These were recorded in ancient aramic manuscripts.

Now referred to today as the Essene Gospel of Peace, these ancient Aramic texts that date to 3 century A.D., traveled from Palestine to the interior of Asia and into the hands of the Nestorian priests.

7th century A.D.
Aaron of Alexandria, a physician who wrote medical works in the Syriac language, all of which are lost except fragments (example : on smallpox)

860-932 A.D.
Rhazes-A famous Arabian physician (although born in Persia) who was distinguished for his many writings and his treatise on small pox and measles being particularly outstanding.

1135-1204
Maimonides-Rabbi Moses Ben Maimonides, called the greatest Jew after Moses, a native of Spain who later practiced medicine in Morocco and Egypt.

A prayer attributed to him is considered to rank beside the oath of Hippocrates as an ethical guide to the medical profession.

1493
Paracelsus-was born in Switzerland. He upset the entire philosophy of Galen and boldly advanced a theory of chemical therapy. (reminiscent of the present "miracle" chemicals for which so much is claimed, but so little forthcoming)

Paracelsus's claims for his chemicals were just as fantastic as those of our "miracle" and "wonder" drugs today. He claimed that his remedies would even give immortal life; but alas, he himself died at the age of 47. The authorities stopped the use of his chemical drugs because of their deadliness.

1509
Was the next great step made in the progress of medicine---Made by Michael Servetus. He was proceeding rapidly with his research and had completely established the fact of the passage of the blood, through the lungs, when he happened to be passing through Geneva. There, John Calvin, the Christian reformer, had him arrested, charged with heresy, an had him burned at the stake with his books to kindle the flames.

Thus, a brilliant man's life was sacrificed to the bigotry and stupidity of medicine and religion of that time.

1600
Harvey, through the work of already done by Servatus, was enabled to discover the general circulation of the blood. For this, he too was cruelly "crucified" by his professional contemporaries, though his life was spared. He lived to see his discovery accepted by the world.

Harvey defined Natural Law: that every cell of the human body was served by the blood.

At this late date, about 1600, the universities, which possessed the sole power of authorizing physicians to practice medicine, were ecclesiastical institutions.

They taught very little and persecuted all who attempted to learn anything not found in the writings of Galen (131 A.D.)

For example-hot oils or hot irons were applied to wounds to stop the flow of blood.

Then Ambrose Pare, seeing the dire results of such practice, invented the mode of arresting bleeding by tying arteries and healing wounds by mild dressings.

These discoveries, although of greater benefit to humanity than all of the improvements made by routine followers of Galen for 1000 years, were not permitted to be published, and Pare had to recant, even as did Galileo his important discovery in astronomy.

Then followed Sydenham and Boerhaave.

1800-The Two main thoughts in medicine were:
Homeopathic and Allopathic
In the early 1900's about 25% of the physicians in the U.S. were Homeopaths. Today in 1999, not even .01% of the physicians in the U.S. are homeopaths.

1813-1878Claude Bernard-Physiologist-Emphasized, contrary to what Pasteur was proposing, that the microbe was not the real problem it was the milieu-the terrain which was everything.

1816-1908-Antoine Bechamp-French chemist, biologist and pharmacist-contemporary of Pasteur. Bechamp claimed that all animal and plant cells contained tiny granules called microzyma. Bechamp did not agree with Pasteur's monomorphic view of microbiology. Bechamp discovered pleomorphism in the world of microbiology.

1821-1902
Virchow, Father of the Cell-Unit Doctrine Theory, German Pathologist , considered the Father of the subject of Pathology. His final words upon nearing the completion of his life's work: "If I could live my life over again , I would devote it to proving that germs seek their natural habitat-diseased tissue---rather than being the cause of the diseased tissue. Example: Mosquitos seek the stagnant water, but do not cause the pool to become stagnant.

1822-1895
Louis Pasteur-microbiologist, originator of "pasteurization and Antibiotics"-yet on his deathbed, admitted he had been wrong in his views " The germ is nothing, the soil is everything"-thus acknowledging the correctness of Bernard and Bechamp's views.

1876
The founder of Osteopathy, Dr. Andrew Still, was a physician from Missouri, who first set about searching for a new approach to disease after being forced to watch three of his sons die from meningitis, knowing that all his medical knowledge and that of the medical world was powerless to help him.

1886
Dr. Edward Bach, born in England in 1886, near Birmingham, was one of the prominent people who has worked with flower essences over the ages. With his genius and deep dedication to humanity he reintroduced the very ancient system of using flower essences in healing. His work with flower essences was done from 1928-1936. From 1914 until the end of 1918, Bach practiced orthodox medicine. Then, from 1919 until he left London in 1930 he was not an orthodox allopathic practitioner anymore, but was a homeopathic practitioner. His increased understanding of health and disease inspired him to convert to homeopathy.

1895
The founder of Chiropractic, D.D. Palmer -launched the profession of Chiropractic in the U.S. and his Chiropratic son, B.J. Palmer spread the practice also.

1900's-Until 1900, vitamins as such, were called "accessory food factors"
1900's-early-
Casimar Funk, a Polish-American Biochemist coined the word vitamine. He discovered the vital importance of vitamins in human nutrition and health.

1906
Sir F.G. Hopkins, English Biochemist, noted that most food factors,(meaning the vitamins) besides carbohydrates, proteins, fats, minerals and water are also REQUIRED for health.

1908-Gunther Enderlein, German Medical Doctor, was 36 at the time of Bechamp's death. Enderlein continued and expanded on Bechamps work, and completed after 60 years of fine research the most advanced understandings of the microbial universe in relation to man, ever to have been compiled and understood. He developed the Darkfield Microscope usage for studying live blood specimens. He founded the Sanum Company in Germany which still today produces the world famous Sanum remedies.

1912
Hopkins and Funk, first felt that a deficiency of certain food factors could lead to diseases---that certain deficiencies are cause by a dietary lack of specific vitamins.

1920
No synthetic vitamin products were available or even known to the public

1926
Vitamin B1 was first isolated

1800-1900's-Miscellaneous Important Natural Health Researcher's and Health Professionals: Hering's Law of Cure: "All cure starts from within out and from the head down and in reverse order as the symptoms have appeared"

Louis Claude Vincent, France, French researcher and hydrologist, originator of the Biological Terrain Concept and developed the Vincent bio-electronigramm a special chemical analysis and graphic chart to determine each individual's "biological terrain" status.

F.X. Mayr-Czechoslovakian M.D. originator of the famous Mayr's Cure

Dr. Charles Mayo, Founder of the world famous Mayo Clinics: "We are all afraid of germs because we are all ignorant of them. Germs are outside, what we should be afraid of is lowered resistance which comes from within"

Ann Wigmore-One of the originator's in the use of Wheatgrass as a nourishing substance. Founded the famous Hippocrates Institutes in Boston and West Palm Beach.

Dr. Alexis Carrell-Nobel Prize recipient, known for his famous chicken heart tissue experiment: "The cell is immortal. It is merely the fluid in which it floats which degenerates. Renew this fluid at intervals, give the cell something upon which to feed and, so far as we know, the pulsation of life may go on forever."

Hans Selye, M.D., University of Montreal, in his famous Medical Classic The Stress of Life: The human organism will, through the general adaptation syndrome (G.A.S), through intricate chemical physical regulatory mechanisms, attempt, as long as possible, to maintain it's existence within it's range of natural homeostasis and will compensate function in order to do so.

Royal Lee, DDS:
"When our understanding of the biochemistry of the body in relation to the glands and nerves reaches the clinical level---the healing arts will have made one of their greatest advances. This soon will be a reality. But will require a system of appraisal at the clinical level based upon the study of the "whole person", and not by the presently employed diagnostic methods which are largely simple chemical analyses revealing only physical pictures of damage already done---as antiquated as the old daguerrotype (tin plate) photography with the modern cameras."

Dr. Richard Murray- Royal Lee's finest student and lifelong friend

Harvey Kellogg of Battle Creek -performed over 20,000 autopsies, and did not find 1 normal healthy colon.

Tilden, of Colorado, famous for his Tuberculosis/Pneumonia Sanitarium in Colorado, in which he did not use drugs, but utilized fasting, cleansing and wholesome raw natural foods---he did not lose 1 tuberculosis case.

Voll- and the original EAV work in Germany (elecro acupunture according to Voll)

Christian Eijkman, Dutch Physician-was the first to associate dietary deficiency to Beri-Beri (B1 deficiency)

Further vitamin research by others, revealed that vitamin complexes, to function properly, required activation by trace elements. It was determined that the accessory food factors (vitamins) did not perform alone but in conjunction with amino acids, minerals and trace elements

Still later, it was realized that many vitamin fractions are inert until they are transformed (in vivo) to enzymes.

1930's-Victor Earl Irons, founded one of the first whole food nutritional companies in the U.S.,-Springreen-which is still in existence today. V.E. Irons was a Yale Graduate and one of the four founding fathers of our National Health Federation, which protects our natural health rights.

1932
Dr. Edward Howell, physician and researcher, discovered that all food in its fresh, raw, state, contains its own enzymes, which are able to digest the raw food and deliver its nutrients. Dr. Howell's research, further revealed that a dramatic improvement in health and longevity is attained when the food "self digests", using its own naturally-occurring enzymes.

Unfortunately, this is only possible when the food is eaten raw, since cooking destroys enzymes. With this knowledge, Dr. Howell became a strong advocate of eating raw food. However, in his clinical practice, he quickly found, that his patients frequently would not or could not comply with his raw food diet.

Determined to solve this problem, he developed a way to cultivate and extract certain plant enzymes, which, when added to the diet, have the unique ability to provide the same digestive activity as food enzymes in the human digestive tract.

Thus nutritional enzyme supplements were created and the company was formed to make these necessary supplements available to everyone.

The digestion of enzyme deficient food is an extremely energy consuming task. This is why we often feel tired after a big meal. Research tells us that, after we grow older, the body's ability to produce enzymes decreases and ,at the same time, tissue breakdown and chronic health conditions increase.

He stated that "enzymes are the sparks of life, enzymes ignite all reactions". There are 3 main categories of types of enzymes: Food enzymes-those that are in the raw food, Digestive enzymes-those that the body's digestive glands and organs produce and Metabolic enzymes-of which there are thousands of varieties, these are made by the various cells of the body for specific metabolic functions.

1936
Scientists were able to synthesize the mirror image of thiamine from coal tar.

1940
About the beginning of World War II, enrichment of refined, devitalized flour became compulsory. The enrichment, so called, was with synthetic fractions of pseudo-vitamins. The practice continues to the day.

Around this same time, authorities and scientists both here and in England strongly realized the effects of our deficient bread and cereals upon both the resistance of our people at home, but more particularly upon the Armed forces.

1941
Oral chelation was introduced in 1941 by the administration of ascorbic acid and natural chelated /treated blood poisoning with exceptional results.

1946
Otto Warburg,Ph.D of the Max Planck Institute in Germany: Oxygen is essential to respiration down to the cell level. The primary cause of disease is caused by oxygen and hydrogen ion deprivation at the cell respiratory mechanism inside the mitochondria of each cell. The first research into deprived oxygenation of the mitochondria was done by Otto Warburg. He won two Nobel prizes for discovering the cytochromic enzymes of the oxidative phosphorylation mechanism in 1946 and 1948. He proved, through experiments with live tissue cultures, that normal cells would convert to cancer cells when the oxygen tension drops below 35%.

1948
At the Detroit Providential Hospital, EDTA, ethylenedimininetetracetic acid, a synthetic chelator was used as IV chelation therapy of heavy metal fragments. Victims of blood toxicity in World War II provided ample opportunity to test the therapy. The positive results from these earlier experiments laid the groundwork for the application of oral chelation therapy for arteriosclerosis. Based on the premise that placque forming was deposits of calcium, blood, albumin, and other types of substances. These could be removed from the body through oral induced chelaters. It was, therefore, conjectured that the effect of the poor circulation is a factor of incidences in the degenerative disease processes. By increasing circulation, these disease processes can be reversed, reduced or stopped.
